Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday. I think the highlight of my holiday was baking pies

with my mom while listening to my 30's playlist. I made the piecrust from this recipe and it turned out so perfect. I didn't even use a food processor. I used my hands and my Grandma's rolling pin.

Between cooking dinner and pies I didn't have time to get any cooking photos.

I guess I'll just have to bake another pie soon.

amoeba music

We stopped in Amoeba Music when we were in San Francisco. It's located on Haight St. As soon

as we walked in I knew we would be there awhile. It's a record collector's paradise! I found a few to add to my collection.

By was the word over at words to shoot by this week. It was our last word of the year.

I'm glad I was asked to be apart of such an inspiring project.

san francisco: part two

This is part two of our first day in San Francisco. After hitting Fisherman's Wharf we walked

through Chinatown and North Beach. I was really excited to get to go to Cafe Trieste and see where the screenplay to my favorite movie The Godfather was written. Pretty cool.

After some good food and a stop at The Beat Museum we headed back to the hotel to crash.

I had a wonderful hot shower that night with the bathroom window open.

The bathroom had an amazing smell of oranges and ocean breeze. While I washed my hair I got to watch the lights of San Francisco. It was the best shower...ever.

autumn day

I got my cloudy fall day. It was perfect light for capturing autumn colors.
