summer goodness

The light is starting to change everyday. I know summer is fading.
I'll be sad to see her go, but I know I will welcome fall with open arms. I'm ready.

steel creek

I took these photos at Steel Creek  back in April on a camping trip. I've camped there many times through the years, but I had never really captured what I love about most about that area. The crystal clear river water, the rocks, that amazing old tree on the path to the bank, and the always so curious damselflys. Well...on this trip I was lucky to have nice light and lots of time by myself to take photos. I hope you enjoy them! If you're ever in Arkansas, check out the upper Buffalo River area.

getting crafty

I promised I would share what I've been working on for the craft fair I'm hoping to take part in.

I've been wanting to try mounting photos on wood for a long time so I finally broke down and got Rob to cut me some wood circles and squares. These are all 4" but I'm hoping to make some larger ones too. I'll share more soon.
