just checking in

love

I'm still here. Just thought I would check in and say hello. I've been super busy working on stuff
for The Little Craft Show. I'm so excited that we have an indie craft fair in our little city! Hopefully I get picked to take part in it. The applications open on Monday and I have more to work on. I'll share photos of what I've been crafting soon!

A few of my favorites that I captured of Lula visiting Terra Studios for the first time.
She's a doll. I love spending time with her.

i am what you see

i am what you see

A couple of weeks ago Rob and I spent four days in Eureka Springs for a mini vacation.
I took several self-portraits while we walked the streets and browsed shops to remember my time
spent in one of my favorite little cities.

Rob got me Vivian Maier's Street Photography book for Christmas last year. Her self-portrait
work has been so inspiring to me. I'm always looking for reflective surfaces for capturing the when and where of my life. I liked the way these turned out so I thought I would share them with you.

I met this beautiful girl by the art colony in Eureka Springs. She came up to let me pet her and
then she returned to her steps and posed away for my camera. I loved the way they turned out so I thought I would share them with you.

I have to say, if I could only photograph one thing for the rest of my life it would have to be cats.
Yes. Cats!
Maybe someday I'll publish an art book full of my love of felines.
Fingers crossed.

My last two contributions to Words To Shoot By were taken on a recent camping trip to the
Buffalo River. While Rob was busy fishing I was photographing the hummingbirds
and butterflies all over a mimosa tree during the BLUE dusk.

Can you see them?
